I am a gestural abstract painter primarily working in large scale. I often place my canvases in conversation with the Earth’s landscapes and create many of my paintings utilizing the four elements (earth, water, fire and air) as co-collaborators. I am also known to take my canvases with me when I travel, so that they may partake in the brainstorm and incubative processes of the work, before any paint is applied. This makes the work in the studio feel less abandoned as I travel frequently. After an intensive medical treatment in 2022, I switched to working only with natural pigments that I forage ethically. I have spent the past few years learning this sacred art without sharing the process publicly. A new collection of paintings will debut in Fall 2025. Join my email list to be notified first.
