In 2019 I experimented with copper pipes and concrete slabs in a series titled Portals + Thresholds. Since switching to working with only natural materials in my painting practice after an intensive medical treatment in 2022, I have also begun to study wild clay. I am sharing updates on my Substack as I learn this new medium, however I am not yet producing artwork for public consumption. The ability to study this new medium was supported in part by the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities FY25 Fellowship Grant.
